Product Designer — AI‑Driven, User‑Centered Prototyping

Requirements Excellent design craft with strong fundamentals in visual hierarchy, interaction design, and usability

• Ability to translate complexity into clear, polished solutions
• Experience working with design systems and applying patterns consistently across a product
• AI fluency. Actively uses tools like Claude, Cursor, v0, or similar to accelerate workflows and prototyping
• Prototyping mindset. Comfortable moving from concept to prototype to iteration, focused on learning and improving quickly
• Collaborative approach. Partners closely with product and engineering throughout the design process, shares work regularly, and communicates design rationale clearly
• Research-driven. Participates in and conducts usability testing and customer conversations to connect design decisions to real user needs and outcomes
• Adaptability. Proactively seeks out feedback, iterates quickly, and navigates evolving priorities with a positive and curious attitude
• (Desirable) Experience with complex or data-rich products
• (Desirable) Familiarity with marketing, messaging, or growth platforms

• You'll partner closely with product and engineering to understand problems, iterate on ideas, and deliver meaningful outcomes

• Design end-to-end product experiences across Klaviyo’s platform
• Translate complex workflows into clear, intuitive, well-documented solutions
• Design AI-assisted experiences that help users create, decide, and act more effectively
• Prototype and iterate using AI tools alongside traditional design workflows
• Apply Klaviyo's design systems consistently and contribute feedback to help evolve them
• Collaborate with PM and engineering from problem definition through launch, with a focus on clear and consistent communication
• Participate in and conduct customer research and usability testing to validate ideas and connect design decisions to real user needs
