Driver

Looking to hit the road for a great cause? A wonderful local non-profit is hiring a Food Delivery Driver to join our client's team! If you love making a  difference, you’ll be the daily "face" of a vital summer program delivering nutritious meals.  Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM at $20/hour—perfect for keeping your afternoons and weekends free. Come help us nourish our community, one mile and one meal at a time!

salary: $41,000 - $42,000 per year
shift: Third
work hours: 6 PM - 2:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Loads truck with hot and cold meals for daily deliveries.
• Checks all counts for accuracy.
• Meets delivery windows and follows specific contact instructions. 
• Records all deliveries using delivery tickets to ensure accurate counts and safe temperatures.
• Picks up of service items from previous deliveries, cleans and sanitizes food safety standards.
• Maintains daily record keeping of vehicle condition, service needs and facilitating that service.
• Handles all general cleaning tasks in the production kitchen.

Skills

• Lifting (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Customer Service (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Pallet Jack Operation
• Communication (1 year of experience is preferred)
