We are looking for a Business Analyst II to join a team in Nashville, Tennessee on a Long-term Contract assignment. This role focuses on evaluating business processes, translating user and operational needs into clear functional documentation, and supporting solutions that align with broader business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, experience working with business systems and data, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders while helping guide complex initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze current business workflows, systems, and user expectations to identify improvement opportunities and define practical solution approaches.
• Gather, interpret, and document functional needs, business rules, and process steps required for new applications or enhancements to existing programs.
• Partner with stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure proposed solutions support strategic business goals.
• Use SQL, Excel, and related tools to examine data, validate findings, and support informed decision-making.
• Develop reports and dashboards in Tableau or similar platforms to present trends, performance metrics, and operational insights.
• Translate complex information into clear documentation that supports development, testing, and implementation activities.
• Contribute to project planning efforts by helping prioritize requirements, clarify scope, and track key deliverables.
• Provide guidance on business analysis activities and may assist in coordinating work across team members when needed.• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in business analysis or a closely related role.
• Strong knowledge of business systems, process analysis, and requirements documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data interpretation techniques.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Familiarity with relational databases and client-server environments.
• Excellent analytical, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex assignments while exercising sound judgment and creativity.
