The MHS II is a clinical treatment team member who is also responsible for providing direct care to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of clients through direct and indirect physical and verbal interaction. The MHS II also engages in admission and diagnostic formulation, screening incoming referrals, and works with referring parties (e.g., Social Workers, Nurses, hospital liaisons, and others) to ensure appropriate client care and treatment planning. Duties are performed under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, but some tasks are accomplished independently. Division/Program Overview 16‑bed facilities designed for adults with mental health challenges or a recent crisis who need intensive treatment. 24/7 programs as an alternative to urgent care or hospitalization. Individuals live on‑site in a homelike setting for a short term while they receive counseling and learn basic living and interpersonal skills. Clients receive physical and psychological evaluation, mental health, and case management services, and assistance locating permanent housing. We serve more than 30,000 adults, children, youth and families annually throughout the state.
