About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Kansas

Start Date: June 22, 2026

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Mid-shift scheduling (10:00 AM - 10:30 PM or 1:00 PM - 1:30 AM). Every third weekend required. 48-hour weekly guarantee available.

• Level 2 Trauma Center with 24-bed Emergency Department
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with strong support staff including unit secretaries and RN core team
• Full scope emergency care including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis protocols
• Meditech documentation system with advanced equipment including Alaris pumps, Lifepak, Arctic Sun, and GE monitoring systems
• Minimal floating required; staff-centered scheduling practices
• Positive, can-do culture focused on patient experience and teamwork

Requirements:

• Current Kansas RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency or Trauma nursing experience in a Level 2 trauma center
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, NIH
• CEN or TCRN certification preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Advanced knowledge in trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis management, and triage
• Experience with all procedures associated with Level 2 trauma care
