Currently, we are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Big Spring, TX. This role is situated within a federal correctional facility.

Compensation: $50.00 per hour.

Sign-on Incentive: $1,500.

Work Location: 1900 Simler Drive, Big Spring, TX 79720.

Work Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

The Dental Hygienist will perform the following services, which include, but are not limited to:

• Administer dental prophylaxis for inmates as referred by the dental team.
• Deliver personalized oral hygiene education to each patient.
• Assess oral hygiene and periodontal health for each patient receiving dental prophylaxis.
• Conduct necessary dental x-rays as directed by the dentist.
• Ensure sterilization of instruments used for prophylaxis and other specified tools.
• Complete required documentation related to scheduling patients for dental prophylaxis as instructed by the dental staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must hold a valid certification or license as a Dental Hygienist in any U.S. state or commonwealth.
