Lead Architect, HayloARCHayloARC is looking for a talented Lead Architect to join our growing team. This position is located in our New York City office on a hybrid work schedule; three (3) days in office depending on business needs. If you are a visionary technologist who thrives on solving complex, multi-platform puzzles, mentoring talented engineers, and making critical "build vs. buy" decisions that directly drive business growth, HayloARC is your next canvas.Responsibilities:Reporting to the VP Enterprise Architecture, lead the design and development of the HayloARC platformPartner with the Product team to translate business requirements into a robust, scalable technical roadmapCoordinate with the Development, Data Engineering and BI teams to build effective solutions, ensuring clear communication of technical requirementsCollaborate with the DevOps team on the architecture, design and scalability of the Cloud infrastructureOwn the external integration strategy, focusing on scalable API design, efficient client onboarding, and managing vendor/partner data exchange to ensure seamless interoperabilityProactively manage technical debt by balancing long-term architectural health against immediate business requirementsDrive adoption of modern development practices and standardsCollaborate with product and finance teams on project schedules and budgetsDevelop ongoing innovation as we begin to integrate predictive modeling and early AI into product featuresMentor the Development team to foster technical growth and excellenceKeep up to date with industry trends and platforms to address business needs, and drive innovation Responsible for evaluating vendors and solutions to recommend build vs buySkills and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field4+ years of experience as a Technical Architect Experience working with and designing complex systems, open source, or internally developed. Ensuring that systems are scalable and adhere to web best practicesExperience with programming languages such as C# (essential), javascript/typescript, python are a plusExperience with architectural patterns (e.g., Event-Driven, Microservices, CQRS)Experience documenting system architecture and designAbility to communicate technical information for business stakeholders, and clientsExperience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud FunctionsExperience with Docker or other containerizationExperience working with SQL and NoSQL databasesKnowledge of security best practices regarding data, file storage, and SDLCExperience with system observability and monitoring performanceExperience working in an agile environment such as Scrum, KanbanExperience evaluating enterprise platforms, vendors, and RFPsExperience managing simultaneous projects and prioritizing tasksWhat We Offer:A competitive compensation packageThe salary range for this position is $150,000–$170,000.
