Description
Job Purpose: The Information Support Assistant is responsible for providing software and hardware support, training, and troubleshooting in a networked environment. Provides support on a wide range of systems including PC workstations, smartphones, tablets, cable TV/Internet systems, and telephone systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide hardware and software support and technical assistance to residents. Respond to first-level user requests. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot software. Provide support for cable systems. Perform purchasing-related tasks and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Required Experience: Experience in providing hardware and software support Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining cable systems Preferred Experience: Experience supporting computers, tablets, and phones Knowledge of networking Required Skills and Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Customer service skills Ability to work independently
