We try to make our environment a fun place to work and we strongly believe in helping our team members grow and develop to their highest potential.The JobAs a Hospitality Team Member, you are responsible for achieving our mission of providing each guest with a truly wonderful experience as well as:Acting as a brand ambassador and delivering exceptional hospitality and service by: Greeting guests in a friendly manner and ensuring they are served quickly, efficiently and accurately while recognizing opportunities to create an amazing guest experienceAssisting guests with placing orders by expertly guiding them through the menu, making suggestions, entering the order into the point-of-sale system, and processing paymentsTaking telephone orders and preparing take out ordersMastering and maintaining menu knowledge, including an understanding of food restrictions, allergies/allergens, popular dishes, and chef suggestionsMaking and serving fresh non-alcoholic and alcoholic beveragesDelivering food to guests and refilling drinks quickly, efficiently, and accuratelyEngaging the guests in light conversation when appropriateMaintaining a clean and inviting space for our guests by: Clearing and sanitizing tables and chairs efficiently, and carrying dishes, silverware, and glassware to kitchen for washingUpkeeping restroom including- sanitizing restroom on an hourly basis, restocking soap, toilet paper and paper towelsSetting up, stocking, cleaning, and maintaining all service stationsMaintaining a safe working environment by: Understanding and exhibiting compliance to the company's required safety policies and standardsPracticing safe food handling and sanitation procedures and maintaining required food handling certifications where applicable by lawExemplifying Company culture by: Working as a team to achieve Company goals and standardsSupporting other areas of the restaurant as necessaryMaintaining a professional and presentable appearance according to the Company's Uniform PolicyAll other job duties as assigned by ManagerRequired Skills and Qualifications for This Position Include:A warm, helpful, hospitable and guest focused natureRestaurant or retail experience is helpful, but not necessaryAbility to approach work with a sense of fun while delivering outstanding resultsAbility to thrive in a fast paced environmentAbility to communicate effectivelyA high level of resourcefulness in solving problems and taking initiativeAbility to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.Ability to comply with all company policies, processes and standardsMust be eligible to work in the United StatesMust be a minimum of 18 years oldAbility to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needsFood handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulationsResponsible Beverage Service Certification may be required according to local and or state regulationsPhysical Requirement:Must be able to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basisSome bending/kneeling/stooping requiredMust be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of timeMust be able to work in a hot kitchen environmentMust be able to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on both high and low shelvesMust be able to work indoors and outdoorsBenefitsWe offer competitive pay + tipsFree meals during shifts and 50% discount while off the clockOpportunities for development and growthA fun and inspiring work environment and be part of an amazing teamThis job description only provides an overview of job responsibilities that are subject to change
