Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Pay: Based on experience

Position Overview 

Manufacturing Assembler / Forklift Operator

A growing manufacturing facility in Chester, SC is hiring a Manufacturing Assembler / Forklift Operator to assist with the fabrication and assembly of wastewater treatment units. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Key Responsibilities 

Manufacturing Assembler / Forklift Operator

• Operate a sit-down forklift to retrieve and transport materials throughout the facility
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble products according to blueprints and drawings
• Fabricate and assemble wastewater treatment equipment and systems
• Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and production instructions
• Gather, organize, and stage materials for production
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with general manufacturing and production duties as needed

Qualifications 

Manufacturing Assembler / Forklift Operator

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with tools required
• Prior manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, construction, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to read and follow drawings, blueprints, or work instructions
• Forklift experience is a plus; training may be provided
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
