What You'll Do:
- Perform high-quality computed tomography procedures, following established protocols.
- Adjust exams based on patient history, radiologist instructions, and protocol requirements.
- Administer IV and oral contrast agents according to departmental procedures.
- Monitor patient conditions throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Practice radiation safety using shielding and collimation techniques.
- Assist radiologists with sterile procedures and obtain vital signs and clinical histories.
- Identify and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or medical emergencies.
What You Need:
- Required:
- ARRT Certification in Radiography or Computed Tomography (preferred)
- Prior CT experience
- Active radiologic technologist license in Michigan or ability to obtain
- Preferred:
- Strong knowledge of imaging protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
