Position Title: Plant Site Manager

Reports To: Senior Management Reports: Direct/Team Leads Indirect/Production Associates

Role Overview:

The Production Manager will oversee a production team and daily operations of the changing manufacturing lines, ensuring production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role requires strategic planning, leadership, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate all site manufacturing activities to meet production targets.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and safety.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, health, and environmental standards.
• Lead, mentor, and support the manufacturing team to achieve lean based performance goals.
• Oversee resource allocation, including staffing and equipment management.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any production issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• An effective leadership style that enables team members to grow and prosper.
• Can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

• Proven leadership and mentorship experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in production management and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize operations.
• A 4 year engineering or business management degree is preferred
