Role Overview
A dedicated regional freight operation based out of Tar Heel, NC is seeking CDL-A drivers for Southeast regional routes with consistent Florida runs and backhauls returning to North Carolina. This position offers predictable mileage, stable freight, weekly home time, and modern lightweight sleeper equipment for drivers seeking steady regional work.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport dedicated freight throughout Southeast regional routes
- Deliver freight throughout Florida and the Southeast region with backhauls returning to North Carolina
- Operate reefer trailers while maintaining safe freight handling practices
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Accurately maintain logs and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
- Operate safely during overnight, weekend, and holiday schedules
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required
- Ability to operate overnight regional routes
- Comfortable working weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation required since trucks cannot be taken home
- Strong safety mindset and dependable attendance
- Ability to operate safely in varying traffic and weather conditions
