Job Description

Hours : Full-time or part-time, no weekends

The Ultrasound Technologist collaborates with the Primary Care Medical Center team to deliver exemplary patient care and customer service while performing a variety of technical and patient care procedures.


How You Will Get Things Done:

• Perform all sonography imaging procedures, properly preparing and positioning patients for imaging exams
  
  

• Position the patient appropriately to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest
  
  

• Organize and monitor patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, and safety standards
  
  

How You Will Build Trust:

• Proactively and consistently understand the needs of our customers and patients
  
  

• Effectively provide service and/or resolves problems
  
  

• Thoroughly explain procedure to be performed to alleviate patient anxiety and facilitate patient cooperation
  
  

How You Will Innovate:

• Perform image reconstruction as necessary
  
  

• Utilizes clear and effective communication to properly screen patients prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to ordered exam
  
  

Experience to Drive Change:

• Satisfactory completion of a formal sonography program or other compatible course of study
  
  

• RDMS certification required (abdomen, vascular, and OB/GYN preferred)
  
  

• Minimum of 1 year sonography experience preferred
  
  

• Breast ultrasound and MSK preferred
