Insurance Sales Agent 2 | Base Pay + Incentives + Full Benefits This is a relationship driven sales role with long‑term income potential through commission. Job Type: Full time; Exempt/Non Exempt: Hourly. Pay & Incentives $5,000 Ramp‑up Bonus during onboarding and training period. Base pay, non‑exempt, plus performance‑based incentives, allowing high performers to significantly increase overall earnings. Average annual earnings range: $57,000–$87,000+, based on performance and sales results. Additional Supplemental pay paid monthly to support productivity during the first six months: Additional $200 per week during months 0–2 Additional $150 per week during months 3–4 Additional $100 per week during months 5–6 Elevated incentive payout structure during the first 15 months to accelerate early earnings. What You’ll Do Own sales and ongoing service of ACG‑branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high‑traffic branch. Leverage proven sales methodologies to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, and grow ACG’s insurance portfolio. Consistently overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales while maintaining long‑term client relationships. Drive performance by meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations aligned with branch and company goals. Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews, quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements. Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, and develop new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand. Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and urgency across insurance, membership, and financial products. Identify and execute cross‑sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services lines of business to maximize overall member value. Required Qualifications Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license. Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire. Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products. Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable and within a time frame established by the Business Unit. Education High School diploma or equivalent. Work Experience 1+ year(s) of customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced computer‑automated business environment (e.g., financial/banking). Insurance experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided to help you get licensed and confident in the role. You’ll Excel If You Have Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities, including disciplined lead tracking, follow‑up, and pipeline management. Apply consultative selling techniques supported by deep product knowledge to deliver tailored solutions and drive customer value. Proven prospecting and business‑development skills, including generating new opportunities through referrals, outbound activity, and networking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer‑first mindset and confidence in guiding sales conversations. Results‑driven with clear ambition, motivation, and accountability for achieving and exceeding performance goals. Proficient in leveraging technology to support sales execution, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications. Strong listening and discovery skills with the ability to quickly assess customer needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions. Work Schedule & Environment Work in a temperature‑controlled AAA branch location. Ability to work varied hours, including possible weekends. Some travel to local events may be required.
