Cnc programmer/machinist

Randstad is seeking experienced CNC Programmer/Machinists to support production in the Providence Area. The candidate will support from CAD/CAM programming through machine setup and first-article inspection. The ideal candidate will have advanced machining knowledge, CAM programming experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC processes. Pay Rate: $30.00 - $32.00/hour (by level of skill/experience) Hours: Monday through Friday - 7:00AM - 3:30PM - 11:00AM - 9:00PM ( Must be able to work both shifts; days will vary based on business need) Benefits: - Medical, Dental, Vision - Paid Vacation - 401K - Life Insurance salary: $62,400 - $66,500 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities - Setup and operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes - Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software - Edit and troublshoot G-code at the machine - Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements - Select tooling, speeds & feeds for various materials - Perform first-article inspections using preceision measuring devices - Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar software - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings - Understanding of machining geometry and tolerancin The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes standing for 6 hours at one time Skills CNC Setup Blueprints inspection measuring tools Mill Lathe tolerances CAD Cam MasterCam SolidWorks Fusion 360 Qualifications Years of experience: 5 years Experience level: Experienced Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
