This role focuses on designing and implementing scalable data workflows, writing stored procedures, tuning query performance, and integrating data across systems through ETL pipelines. The developer also collaborates closely with engineering and product teams to support reporting, analytics, and data migrations—ensuring fast, reliable access to data while enforcing secure access controls. The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.Job DutiesThe SQL Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:Develop and optimize high-performance T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and user-defined functionsDesign and implement SQL databases aligned to end-user needs and application requirementsBuild scalable ETL workflows using SSIS packages and improve their architecture for speed and reliabilityInvestigate and resolve performance issues—index tuning, transaction log handling, and query optimizationMigrate data across platforms while ensuring integrity, consistency, and zero downtimeCreate solutions that distribute data to the right users at the right time, in the right formatMonitor and fine-tune database configurations to ensure fast and stable query responsesRegularly test systems to maintain data security, privacy, and compliance standardsProvide hands-on data access support and troubleshooting for application and internal usersCollaborate with the dev team to establish development standards and ensure consistent practicesDocument schema designs, development workflows, and database policies clearlyApply patches, updates, and system changes as needed for ongoing reliabilityDeliver technical support for various in-house applications and systemsThis position requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule and periodic adjusted work hours, including an 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM shift rotation, based on business needs and once training is completed. Additional compensation for on-call coverage will be provided in accordance with company policyQualificationsMinimum of three years of experience with SQL serverProficient in writing code for update queries, update data dictionaries as new fields are added to the database, and maintain a data correction logExperience managing database utilities and monitoring relationships between users and applicationsKnowledgeable in network hardware and softwareMaintaining data correction logs that identify the date the correction that was performed, tables and fields effected, submission effected, error code effected, and other pertinent metadata.Working ConditionsThe duties described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
