Company Description Ability Allies is a physical therapy practice with four locations on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, focused on high-quality, patient-centered care for the local community in 40-60 minute one on one treatment sessions. The team includes experienced and certified practitioners with more than two decades of expertise in orthopedic, neurological, pelvic floor/women’s health, and sports rehabilitation. Clinicians specialize in evaluating complex conditions, identifying root causes of dysfunction, and designing individualized treatment plans that promote faster, more complete recovery. Using a hands-on, interactive, and collaborative approach, the practice empowers patients with education and tools to improve outcomes. Patients frequently describe Ability Allies as problem solvers who help them achieve full recovery and a better overall care experience. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Portsmouth, NH. The Physical Therapist will assess patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based interventions across orthopedic, neurological, pelvic floor/women’s health, and sports rehab conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting thorough evaluations, delivering manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programs, monitoring progress, and adjusting care plans to optimize outcomes. The role involves educating patients about their conditions, self-management strategies, and home exercise programs while maintaining clear documentation and working collaboratively with other practitioners. The Physical Therapist will contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment and uphold high standards of clinical quality and safety. Qualifications Strong foundation in clinical decision-making relevant to musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Demonstrated expertise in Physical Therapy assessment, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise. Experience in planning and execution, including orthopedic, sports, and pelvic floor/women’s health rehab. (Paid certifications available) Commitment to high-quality Patient Care , emphasizing communication, education, and patient-centered treatment. Ability to design and monitor home exercise programs that support ongoing recovery. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred. Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist in New Hampshire. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, and comfort with diverse patient populations. Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records and documentation.
