Certified Nursing Assistant

Role Overview: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides in-home care services to patients, supporting their daily needs and promoting independence within their residence. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as prescribed. Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to ensure patient safety. Prepare meals tailored to dietary requirements and preferences. Offer companionship and engage patients in activities suited to their interests. Perform light housekeeping duties and complete documentation accurately using EVV systems. Monitor and report changes in patient condition, maintaining confidentiality and respecting patient rights. Follow the established Plan of Care strictly, avoiding medication administration. Use equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes as needed. Qualifications & Skills Maintain current certification with DFS. High school diploma or GED preferred. Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following instructions. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods. Compassionate attitude toward patient care and safety.
