Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers to join our day shift team in our assisted living community. Caregivers play a vital role in supporting residents with daily activities while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Provide support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation

• Assist with meal service, feeding, and hydration as needed

• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to nursing staff

• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans

• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs

• Work collaboratively with nursing and interdisciplinary team members

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous caregiving experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care preferred

• CNA certification (if required by state) or willingness to obtain

• Knowledge of basic caregiving and safety practices

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

• Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach

• Dependable and strong work ethic
