As a Product Vice President in Card Data Product, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers and partners. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to lead our Innovation pillar on the Credit Card Data Product team. You will help drive business value through improved usability and adoption of the data products that are defined and curated in partnership with analysts and business product owners. You will also work with data owners, engineering, data scientists to deliver the data product and any potential GenAI use cases. As a data product manager you are expected to ideate and improve business‑ready datasets (redefine metrics, add calculated columns, create derived fields) when there’s a clear business justification. Presenting the “so what” and articulating business use cases is critical. Managing junior product managers may be required. Job Responsibilities Ideate and improve business‑ready datasets when there’s a clear business justification. Provide business‑ready datasets with enhanced usability by understanding data use cases in detail. Partner with data owners, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant data product solutions and generative AI solutions. Drive new GenAI use cases and products to improve the Card business. Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories for development teams and articulate the business value of the data product to varying audiences. Own product performance and be accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives. Lead modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to cloud‑native architectures such as AWS and Data Lake. Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders; communicate product updates, influence the importance of data to the organization, and articulate the business value of centralizing data. Coach and mentor a small team of junior product managers on best practices such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind‑mapping, prototyping methods. Help uplift the team to develop a product mindset to tell the story of data, generative AI solutions, and their impact. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications. Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics. Proven ability to influence adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management. Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions. Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with data environments such as AWS S3, Snowflake, and Databricks. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with them. Technical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling, and data architecture. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Recognized thought leader within a related field. High proficiency in data querying with languages such as Python, R, Perl, SQL. Prior experience in a Credit Card organization/background is preferred, not mandatory.
