Position Summary  

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support daily warehouse and distribution operations at a fast-paced beverage production facility in Huntersville, NC. This role is responsible for preparing shipments, verifying orders, coordinating outbound freight, maintaining accurate shipping records, and ensuring products are loaded and delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate thrives in a team-oriented environment, works efficiently under deadlines, and is committed to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities  

• Check in Drivers and review paperwork before assigning them an appointment
• Generate shipping documents to support shipping and receiving
• Maintain up to date customer and vendor records within SAP
• Processing specific customer related reports (e.g., inventory, finished goods, etc.)
• Work with multiple departments on receipt of packages
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts as needed  
• Establishing and maintaining confidential employer and business files
• Establish and maintain various company documents using an organized filing system as instructed electronically or non-electronically
• Comply with all policies including but not limited to GMPs, PPEs, and food safety
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
• Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus
• Experience using SAP Business One preferred  
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Access. Be capable of learning SAP Inventory Management Software.  
• Excellent math skills, be detail oriented, and have strong organizational skills
• Must possess proficient ability to communicate in English in oral and written format
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages a plus
• Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering data
• Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Physical ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.  
• Comfortable working while standing, bending, reaching, and lifting for extended periods

Employment Type & Compensation

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire 
• Compensation: $20.00 per hour
• Application Period: This position will remain open until filled

Work Schedule

• Nights | Monday - Thursday | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Weekends Days | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM  
• Weekend Nights | Friday – Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM 
• Night shift employees will train on days, Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
