CT Technologist

Perform specialized tasks related to CT scans, including operating scanners, positioning patients, and assisting radiologists with imaging procedures and contrast injections. Responsibilities Ensure exams are accurate, adhere to safety protocols, and evaluate scan quality. Assist with clerical duties such as scheduling, charging procedures, and maintaining patient records. Provide patient care, education, and support for their psychological and physical needs. Train and orient new technologists and collaborate with physicians and staff on protocols and projects. Maintain proficiency in IV placement, exam protocols, and equipment operation, with opportunities for career growth within imaging services. Qualifications Certification in radiography, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, or CNMT, with ARRT CT certification required within 18 months. Experience levels vary from entry to advanced. Must meet physical and mental requirements, hold BLS certification, and meet educational and experience criteria for the specific level. #J-18808-Ljbffr
