About the Role
The Company is seeking a Board Director to join its Corporate Board, with a focus on long-term sustainability. The successful candidate will be dedicated to ensuring good governance, prudent risk management, strong oversight of service providers, and making judicious investment policy decisions. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the organization, and the Director will be expected to contribute to strategic decision-making that aligns with the organization's mission and values. Candidates for the Board Director position must be committed to the principles of the organization and have a clear understanding of the responsibilities that come with the role. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, investment, or a related field, and a proven track record of leadership in similar capacities. Experience in pension management or related financial services is highly valued. The Director will be appointed for a term of up to three years, with the possibility of renewal, and must adhere to the governance regulations that limit consecutive years of service. Strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a dedication to the financial well-being of the organization's members are essential.
