What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive family medical care across multiple clinic locations
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform preventive health assessments and screenings
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
• Support teamwork and patient education efforts

What You Need:
Required:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Unrestricted medical license in Virginia
• Board certification in Family Practice
• DEA and BLS certifications
• At least one year of recent family practice experience
• Ability to perform full scope of family medicine services
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation

Preferred:

• Experience in military or federal healthcare settings
• Additional certifications or bilingual abilities
• Experience mentoring or supervising staff

About the Assignment:
This position involves providing family healthcare services at various military medical clinics in Portsmouth, ensuring high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. You will work primarily on Fridays, with additional shifts extending across multiple locations including Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and associated clinics.
