Network Project Manager

Job TitlePayrate: $50.00- $59.00/hr. Responsibilities:Analyzes architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs.Interface with Engineering, Operations and Network Planning organizations to serve and support proper designs needed to simplify and modernize the legacy network.Track monthly Engineering and Operations progress to ensure progress is being made to achieve Open For Sales, Copper Migration and Switch shutdown targets.Sharing progress with leaders and other stakeholders with dashboards and reports.Must Have Skills:Strategic & Analytical ThinkingAbility to assess network topology and identify consolidation opportunitiesCost-benefit analysis — evaluating which sites/circuits to consolidate and whenScenario planning — modeling different consolidation sequences and their impactNetwork & Infrastructure KnowledgeDeep understanding of network architecture (WAN, LAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, circuits)Familiarity with facility types — data centers, comms rooms, edge sitesUnderstanding capacity planning and service dependenciesData & Inventory ManagementAbility to work with network inventory systems and asset registersIdentifying gaps, redundancies, and rationalization opportunities in circuit/equipment dataProficiency in Excel/data tools for modeling and reportingDesired Skills:Stakeholder EngagementPresenting consolidation recommendations to senior leadershipAligning strategy with business goals across multiple departmentsManaging pushbacks from teams resistant to site changesFinancial & Commercial AwarenessUnderstanding lease obligations, carrier contracts, and exit costsBuilding business cases for consolidation decisionsTracking realized savings against strategy targetsVendor & Carrier KnowledgeUnderstanding carrier landscapes and contract structuresIdentifying opportunities to renegotiate or exit unfavorable contractsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Business or equivalent experiencePay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $59.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
