RN Step DownJob Title: RN Step Down Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of experience - HFNC, BIPAP, stable GTT management experience - Experience with POD#1 CABG, AVR, MVR procedures - Cardiovascular and Vascular experience - AAA repair, lobectomy, CEA, NSTEMI, STEMI - Experience with ACS, pacers, sepsis, gastrointestinal bleeding - Post-DKA, respiratory failure, tracheostomy Description: This is a 30-bed stepdown unit. The position requires floating between critical care service lines. Candidates should have experience with high-flow nasal cannula and bi-level positive airway pressure. Stable glycemic management is essential. Knowledge of various cardiovascular procedures is required. The role involves managing patients post-operatively from CABG, AVR, and MVR surgeries. Experience in handling both NSTEMI and STEMI cases is crucial. Candidates must also be familiar with managing acute coronary syndromes, pacemakers, and sepsis.
