Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00). Flexible scheduling options available including 10-hour shifts. No floating between units, no on-call requirements, and no mandatory weekend coverage.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 379-bed Level II Trauma Center providing short-term acute care
• Reduced orientation period of only 8 hours versus standard 40 hours
• Work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• One-on-one patient ratios allowing for focused, quality care
• Epic charting system with interdisciplinary physical therapy support
• Free employee parking on-site in designated surface lots

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Valid Texas state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Experience in acute care settings treating orthopedic and neurological conditions including post-operative patients, stroke rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury
• Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
