Sales Director

I’m partnering with an established industrial organization to hire a Sales Director for its Permian Basin operation.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the field . You’ll manage and develop a small team of Account Managers while working alongside them on customer visits, ride-alongs, strategic accounts, and new business development.
The territory already has an established ~$5.5M book of business , with significant opportunity for continued growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-3 Account Managers
- Spend significant time in the field on joint customer calls and ride-alongs
- Help the team develop opportunities and close new business
- Grow existing strategic accounts while expanding into new customers
- Develop relationships with decision-makers throughout the Permian Basin
- Drive sales strategy, account planning, and territory growth
- Remain personally involved in major opportunities rather than managing strictly from the office
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of successful B2B industrial sales experience
- Proven sales results with measurable revenue growth, major wins, or account development
- Experience selling into Oil & Gas, transportation, manufacturing, food & beverage, OEM, or other industrial markets
- Previous sales leadership, mentoring, or team-development experience
- Comfortable selling and building relationships at the Director level and above
- A strong fluid power, hydraulics, hose, industrial distribution, or related technical sales background is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of the Midland/Odessa and Permian Basin market is a major plus
