Responsibilities

• Procure, maintain, and deliver supplies needed for surgical cases in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Communicate effectively with Surgery, Sterile Processing, and departmental staff regarding supply needs.
• Utilize handheld devices and inventory management systems to order, restock, and maintain surgical and anesthesia supplies.
• Maintain inventory PAR levels on supply carts and storage systems.
• Monitor case carts and verify completeness against preference cards.
• Identify and obtain missing items before surgical procedures begin.
• Maintain clean and organized supply carts, bins, and storage areas.
• Coordinate the return and proper storage of unused supplies and instrumentation.
• Rotate stock and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals.
• Attend required training sessions and educational programs.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and aseptic techniques.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain, healthcare, hospital, surgical services, or sterile processing environments is a plus, but not required.
