At Mygrant Glass, we're looking for a dependable CMV (Non-CDL) Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll operate commercial motor vehicles (10,001–26,000 lbs. GVWR) to make safe, timely, and professional deliveries while providing outstanding customer service. Mygrant Glass is proud to offer its employees a comprehensive benefits package including:MedicalDentalVisionLife insuranceFSA plans401(k) plus matchingHoliday, sick, and vacation daysCMV (Non-CDL) DriverNonexemptReports To: Branch ManagerPOSITION SUMMARY:The CMV (Non-CDL) Driver provides excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders while operating vehicles with gross motor weight ratings between 10,001 and 26,000 pounds. The CMV (Non-CDL) Driver performs general delivery driver, warehouse duties, and customer assistance as needed.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Unload inventory from incoming vehicles. Inspect inventory for damage. Process and stock inventory.Pick correct product and quantities for orders and/or transfers. Load racks and trucks with glass.Clean glass, assessing stock for damage. Affix proper labels to glass.Timely follow delivery route and time schedules to deliver product and receive returns. Process/record payments and input data into ordering system.Safely operate the delivery vehicle, up to 26,000 pounds GMVW.Receive and process return stock.Complete logs and documentation.Break down boxes, stock accessories, organize inventory as directed.Interact and assist customers during delivery and at will call.Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed. Clean warehouse, counter area, etc.Perform other job tasks as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements for commercial motor vehicle drivers of applicable gross motor vehicle weight rating, including but not limited to holding valid DOT medical cardPass an MVR checkSafely and competently operate forklifts, reach trucks, pickersHave 3-5 years of driving and delivery experienceExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesBe organized, detail orientated, accurate, and adaptable to warehouse environmentsAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a team, and/or take direction in an ever-changing working conditionEDUCATION AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma, GED, or equivalentValid driver's license requiredCMV DOT Medical Card required2+ years driving or equivalent experiencePHYSICAL DEMANDS:This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal/mobile device; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts; Ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must have finger grip strength to properly handle glass. Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or upright, for prolonged periods of time, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch occasionally during 8-10-hour work shift.BASE PAY:The listed range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this opportunity at the time of this posting. Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's experience, education, certifications, knowledge, skills and geography/ work location, and may ultimately be more or less than the posted range.
