onsite in San Antonio, TXResponsibilitiesCommercial Analytics & InsightsDevelop, maintain, and continuously improve commercial dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights to sales, marketing, and leadership teamsConduct deep-dive analyses on commercial performance — including sales trends, territory performance, customer segmentation, market penetration, and competitive dynamicsTranslate complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives that inform strategic and tactical decision-making at all levels of the organizationProactively identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within commercial data and bring forward recommendations with supporting evidencePartner with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and deliver solutions that are both rigorous and accessibleBuild and maintain a single source of truth for key commercial metrics, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and trust across the organizationForecasting & Demand Planning SupportSupport the development and execution of sales forecasting models, including demand planning, revenue projection, and pipeline analysisMaintain and enhance forecasting tools and templates, ensuring they are accurate, repeatable, and aligned to business planning cyclesAnalyze historical performance data to identify trends and patterns that improve forecast accuracy over timeAssist in scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to help leadership understand the range of potential outcomes under varying business conditionsCollaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure forecast inputs are aligned and assumptions are well-documentedTrack and report on forecast accuracy metrics, identifying root causes of variance and recommending model improvementsStandard Operating Mechanisms & ReportingSupport the design and maintenance of standard operating reports and cadenced dashboards that power the rhythm of the commercial businessBuild and automate recurring to streamline and standardize reporting workflows across the commercial organizationAutomation & AI EnablementIdentify and implement automation opportunities within existing analytical workflows — the application of machine learning and predictive analytics to commercial use cases such as churn prediction, customer scoring, and territory optimizationStay current on emerging analytics initiatives where analytical support is neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, sales operations, or a related analytical functionOr, advanced degree and 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, sales operations, or a related analytical functionPreferred QualificationsAdvanced proficiency in data visualization, Salesforce, and BI tools — Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent — including the ability to build production-quality dashboards from scratchStrong SQL skills with the ability to query, join, and transform large datasets independentlyDemonstrated experience supporting or building commercial forecasting models with quantifiable accuracy improvementsProficiency in Excel and/or Python/R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and modelingStrong analytical storytelling skills — the ability to take complex data and communicate it clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiencesProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of independence and accountabilityDetail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrityExperience in the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industryFamiliarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and their underlying data PR) locations (USD):$97,000.00 - $165,000.00For roles located in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the salary range is $107,000 - $183,000 USD.Actual compensation may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, market conditions, internal equity, and geographic location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Short Term Incentive (STI).At MiniMed, we are committed to supporting the well-being and financial security of our employees.
