About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Wholesale Sales Rep to support a portfolio of products within the building materials / home improvement category.
This is a flexible, part-time role focused on maintaining strong in-store execution and supporting relationships across a small number of major big box store locations.

Job Type: Part-Time (8–16 hours per week)

Pay : $27-35 per hour (depending on experience)

Mileage/Cell Phone : Reimbursable (driver’s license and car required for business travel)

L ocation : Oahu; outer Island travel required (Big Island (Kona/Hilo), Kaui, Maui)

Key Responsibilities

• Sell home improvement/hardware products to new and existing retailers/customers

• Drive new business growth by prospecting, identifying, and securing high-value new customers

• Collaborate closely with with management, operations, supply chain, and customer support teams

• Visit assigned retail stores across Hawaii on a regular schedule (1–2 days per week)

*Some stores are located on outer islands (funded travel to these stores will be provided)
• Ensure products are well-stocked, correctly merchandised and clearly displayed
• Set up and maintain point-of-sale (POS) materials
• Provide basic product knowledge support to store teams
• Identify and pursue new business, report stock issues, new opportunities

• Monitor market conditions, competitive dynamics, customer trends

• Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation, activity tracking, and forecasting
• Take and submit photo reports following store visits

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in wholesale, field sales or territory management
• Experience working with big-box retail environments (home improvement experience highly regarded)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Highly organized and reliable
• Must be based on Oahu with access to a vehicle

Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexible, part-time schedule
• Opportunity to work independently and manage your own time
• Ideal for experienced reps looking to build a portfolio of work
• Ongoing, stable engagement (not project-based)
