Job Description

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse will be responsible for the care of laboring patients, newborns immediately after delivery, and the circulation and recovery of cesarean section (c/s) patients. The nurse will work within a team that includes RNs, unit secretaries, and OR techs to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients and newborns immediately after delivery.
• Circulate and recover patients post-cesarean section.
• Perform vaginal deliveries and assist with medical procedures such as D&C, cerclage, and epidural anesthesia.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications are mandatory.
• AWHONN Intermediate or CEFM certification is required.
• State RN license required.
