President & Chief Executive Officer

The client seeks a dynamic, community-facing President and CEO to lead a growing cultural and environmental institution in Southwest Florida during a pivotal period of maturation and promise. The role leads a large botanical garden operation, connecting people and plants through displays, education, conservation, and applied science, and supporting a range of public programming and restored habitats. The next President and CEO will guide thoughtful organizational growth, continue building the institution’s reputation and impact across conservation, education, and horticulture, and strengthen its “garden for all” mission for the region. The CEO will champion execution of a multi-phase master plan, translate strategic vision into deliverable projects, and work to grow and diversify revenue to support long-term stability. As an external ambassador and relationship-builder, the leader will steward stronger board engagement, expand the community of visitors and supporters, and empower a high-performing, cross-disciplinary team of experienced staff.
