Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Desk Monitor in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location as a Front Desk Professional, where you will greet visitors, manage access, support badge and alarm processes, and handle security-related communications with professionalism. In this highly visible role, you will help create a welcoming experience while supporting site operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location.
• Monitor lobby and reception areas, greet visitors, confirm appointments, and assist with access control and visitor check-in processes in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, guests, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Support a professional front desk presence by answering questions, documenting activity, and reporting unusual, suspicious, and/or concerning behavior through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
