Local Contract Quality Control Technician - $23-25 per hour

LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Quality Control Technician for a local contract job in Elmhurst, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Quality Control Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Required Skills & Experience: Two (2) years of handson experience in sterile processing, demonstrating proficiency in decontamination, assembly, and sterilization procedures. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. General knowledge of surgical instruments and processing protocols. Knowledge of sterilization techniques, including steam sterilization and infection control practices. Familiarity with ANSI/AAMI standards and manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs). Skill in operating washer disinfectors, autoclaves, and other related equipment. Strong manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Capacity to meet deadlines and maintain performance under pressure. Ability to read and follow detailed Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. Basic proficiency with personal computers and electronic data systems. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Willingness and ability to receive required vaccinations and health screenings. Collaborative attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Professionalism, reliability, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Required Certifications & Licensure Certification in sterile processing (e.g., CRCST, CIS).
