Your impact on our mission


As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will partner directly with sales, marketing, and product leadership to analyze and forecast key drivers of Zocdoc's financial performance and support strategic decision-making. We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical problem solver to join our team. Your day to day is...

• Provide strategic finance and analytical support to Zocdoc's business units through forecasting, reporting, modeling, financial analysis, and business case preparation, with a focus on supporting the health system business, an area critical to the U.S. healthcare system and Zocdoc's long-term growth
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product leadership teams to prioritize strategic initiatives and direct investment decisions
• Own financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and key performance metrics
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance against company forecasts/targets, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders, summarizing key findings and recommendations
• Support preparation of materials for Zocdoc's board and investors
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed to support strategic initiatives and business priorities, including evaluating partnership opportunities, customer acquisition and unit economic analyses

You'll be successful in this role if you have...

• 2-4 years of work experience in a highly analytical field, such as strategic finance, corporate finance, sales operations, investment banking, private equity, or consulting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and develop insights
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with with advanced proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
• Experience with SQL or business intelligence/data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau), a plus!
• Experience in technology, healthcare, and/or consumer marketplaces a plus
• A strong academic record

Zocdoc is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skills. Certain positions are also eligible for variable pay and/or equity; your recruiter will discuss the full compensation package details.

NYC Base Salary Range

$115,000-$135,000 USD
