The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a particular focus on diagnostics and customer service. This role is essential in ensuring that vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively, meeting the high standards expected by our customers. ASE certification is a plus as well as any background and previous experience in diesel and transmission repairs. Being able to diagnose electrical issues is also preferred. *Duties* * Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
* Execute vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
* Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair processes.
* Conduct alignments and other adjustments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and quality. *Experience* * Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required.
* Dealership experience is highly desirable, particularly with Ford vehicles.
* Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
* Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting techniques.
* Experience with diesel engine repair is advantageous.
* Skills in welding are considered a valuable asset.
