As a Lead, you help guide the team and support daily operations to ensure consistent service and a positive guest experience.

Position Summary

The Lead supports daily restaurant operations by guiding team members, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, and maintaining efficient service. This role acts as a leader on duty and works closely with management to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

This is a non-exempt position in a full-service restaurant environment.

As a Lead, you will:

• Support daily restaurant operations by assisting in leading team members during shifts
• Provide direction, coaching, and real-time feedback to team members
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met
• Assist in coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house operations for smooth service flow
• Monitor service times and support efficiency during peak periods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining, kitchen, and buffet areas
• Support and maintain salad bar and guest-facing areas as needed
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including basic cash handling support
• Help train and onboard new team members
• Step into various roles as needed, including service, kitchen, or support positions
• Follow all company policies and applicable federal, state, and local laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

Pay Range: $16 per hour – $18 per hour

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to perform the following, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds
• Bend, reach, stoop, and move frequently
• Perform repetitive motions related to service and kitchen work
• Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with exposure to heat and noise

Work Environment

This role operates in a full-service restaurant environment with exposure to dining areas, kitchen operations, buffet stations, and fast-paced service conditions. Team members are expected to follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective equipment.
