About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: CVICU experience Description: CVICU experience is required. Travelers are allowed one call out per contract. A second call out will require proper documentation and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Orientation is conducted weekly. The facility has 171 beds and serves as a community hospital and regional referral center. It is certified as a Chest Pain Center. The trauma level is III. The area offers local attractions including outdoor recreation such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. Various local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries are available for exploration. Scenic views include beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery. It is conveniently located near major cities including Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon National Park. Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel positions. The unit profile consists of a 16-bed ICU with a patient ratio of 1:2. Common diagnoses and treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, alcohol withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR. Travel experience is preferred. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. All candidates must provide a full submittal packet including a resume and skills checklist.
