Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a critical access hospital. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages and work independently as the sole respiratory therapist on shift in a small hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and evaluations as prescribed.
• Monitor and manage patients using Bipap, Cpap, ventilators, and Vapotherm equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory care.
• Assist in emergency response situations and provide critical care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist in Tennessee.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS.
• 1+ years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in ER and critical care settings.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
