School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant - SLPA

Job Summary Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Houston, TX
- Provide speech-language therapy to children in multiple schools on the west/southwest side of Houston for the full school year.
- Travel between a few nearby schools; paid travel time included.
- Implement therapy and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) as directed by supervising SLP.
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings (no clinical interpretation).
- Track and document student progress, gather data, and maintain clinical records.
- Collaborate with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and parents to support student goals.
- Prepare therapy materials and assist with equipment/device management.
- School-based and pediatric experience preferred; knowledge of ARD/IEP processes is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field required.
- Must have valid Texas SLPA license (TDLR) and have passed Texas Jurisprudence Exam.
- Strong communication, organization, and (preferably) bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
