Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting located in Clear Lake, CA. The assignment begins ASAP and runs for approximately 13 weeks, offering a contract role with day shifts scheduled as four 10-hour days per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Restocking Omnicell medication dispensing systems
- Performing sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Delivering medications to patient floors
- Utilizing hospital technology such as EPIC and Omnicell systems
Qualifications:
- Valid California Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment
- Availability for full-time hours with a flexible schedule to cover day shifts
This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced healthcare setting. Candidates should be comfortable with the technology platforms specified and able to manage compounding procedures safely and accurately.
