Job Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule

Night, day, and weekend shifts available. Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Patient ratio: 4:1. Orientation hours: 24 (non-billable). Compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start.

Requirements

• Active RN licensure in GA or Compact.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Travel experience required.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Key clinical skills: Ventilator care, central/arterial line management, IV vasopressor and sedation management, ABG and dysrhythmia interpretation, triage, and emergency department assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to diverse populations including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Assess patient conditions, interpret data, and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a safe environment following isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Compliance / Notes

All requests for time off must be finalized at submission. RTO limits: max 7 days per contract. Major holiday work expectations detailed in the contract.
