Registered Nurse Med/Surg

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekend expectation: every other weekend. Call requirement applicable if placed on a prescheduled on-call shift.

Assignment Details

Contract duration of 1326 weeks, with options for 36 or 48 hours accepted per week.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Charge nurse experience preferred for night travelers.
• EPIC documentation experience required.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
• Current BCLS/BLS certifications required; CPI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients on a medical/surgical unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and prepare reports for treatment plans.
• Assist with wound care, heparin drips, and high-flow oxygen.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in unit meetings and training as required.

Compliance / Notes

Must be prepared to report for duty during catastrophic events as part of the Storm/Hurricane Team. All time in pre-start modules is non-billable and must be completed prior to starting the assignment.
