Guest Service Agent

Guest Service Agent FT/PT $13 + per hr based on experience We are looking to hire an upbeat front desk agent to assist with checking guests in and out of our establishment. The front desk agent will assist guests with inquiries, problems, and complaints. The front desk agent will be responsible for receiving guests’ payments and for balancing the cash at end of the shift. What we’re looking for: We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent people skills for the position of a guest service representative. To ensure success you will be professional and pleasant in challenging situations and take responsibility for the satisfaction of guests from arrival to departure. Preferred candidates will be positive, pro‑active, and skilled at multitasking. The best guest service representatives will have tremendous patience when dealing with guests and accommodate their every need with enthusiasm and poise. Guest Service Representative Responsibilities: Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed. Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties. Delivering mail and messages. Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice. Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure. Posting charges to appropriate guest accounts. Anticipating and addressing guests' needs and resolving their problems and complaints. Assisting guests with disabilities. Operating switchboard and assisting with inquiries. Assisting the reservations manager with taking reservations. Collaborating and communicating with other internal departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Complying with company procedures and safety policies. Performing duties on a daily checklist. Accommodating general and unique requests. Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests. Guest Service Representative Requirements: High school diploma or GED. 1+ years of customer service experience preferred Patience and good listening skills. Well-groomed, professional appearance. Team player. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Good time management, organizational skills and conflict resolution skills.
