This second-shift position is responsible for setting up and operating advanced CNC milling equipment while producing precision components to strict quality and tolerance requirements.This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth and advancement potential for skilled machinists who can independently set up equipment, troubleshoot machining issues, and maintain consistent quality in a precision manufacturing environment.Required Experience & Skills• 3–5+ years of CNC machining experience• Ability to independently set up and operate CNC machines• Experience operating 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills• Strong blueprint and technical drawing interpretation skills• Experience working with tight machining tolerances• Ability to adjust tooling and machine offsets• Ability to perform minor CNC program edits• Strong machining and tooling troubleshooting skills• Reliable attendance and willingness to work required overtime and SaturdaysEssential Duties & Responsibilities• Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment• Read and interpret blueprints, machining specifications, and production documentation• Select and adjust tooling according to production requirements• Make machine offset adjustments and minor program edits as needed• Monitor machining operations to maintain production efficiency and part quality• Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and tolerance requirements• Use precision measuring equipment to verify finished parts meet specifications• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues• Make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and minimize downtime• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment• Follow all company safety procedures and aerospace manufacturing quality requirementsPreferred Qualifications• Previous aerospace or precision manufacturing experience• Experience with multi-axis CNC machining• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds, and speeds• Experience performing in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment• Ability to identify and correct machining problems independentlyPhysical Requirements• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement around machining equipment• Ability to safely handle tooling, materials, and machined components as required• Comfortable working around CNC equipment, cutting tools, coolant systems, and industrial machinery while wearing required PPEWork Environment• Precision aerospace manufacturing facility• Fast-paced production environment focused on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement• Exposure to advanced CNC machining centers, precision measuring equipment, cutting tools, and industrial machinery• Mandatory overtime and Saturday work currently required based on production demandsWhy You'll Want This Opportunity• Competitive pay of $20.00–$28.00/hour, including shift differential• Long-term temp-to-hire opportunity• Opportunity to work with advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining equipment• Hands-on experience producing precision components for the aerospace industry• Excellent opportunity to expand setup, programming, troubleshooting, and multi-axis machining skills• Strong long-term growth and advancement potentialReady to Apply?Apply today for immediate consideration or call/text View phone number on click.appcast.io for more information.You can also apply in person at:Stand-By Personnel – Oklahoma City3625 S.
