Maintenance Technician, Part-Time

The Maintenance Technician is a hands-on role, supporting general facility repairs, preventative maintenance, vendor management, and support.  This position may require assisting contractors with acquiring supplies, performing basic maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting for the facility. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work effectively with little direction, with strong problem-solving skills, comfortable working with tools, basic knowledge of HVAC and electrical, and safety.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Receive packages and coordinate placement of shipments in the facility
• Perform preventative maintenance and general troubleshooting on equipment and building
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory and service records
• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting for air compressor, bottling line, reverse osmosis skids, basic electrical
• Coordinate more complex repairs and warranty resolutions with vendors and contractors
• Assist subcontractors with electrical, HVAC and other installations
• Coordinate for snow removal, lawn care and other facility maintenance contracts
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters, and drains
• Purchase necessary supplies, equipment and materials in order to complete projects
• Perform ad hoc jobs and projects as needed

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Experience working under OSHA safety guidelines
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop and use a ladder
