Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment starting ASAP
• Contract ends on Sunday, not Saturday
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirement
• Must work outside a 50-mile radius of facility
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required
• Stepdown/Intermediate/PCU experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/Trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Work on 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry
• Care for patients with stable, weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips with 4:1 patient ratio
• Fast-paced unit requiring independent work and timely task completion
• Any color scrubs allowed
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times

The facility operates a 36-bed Medical Surgical Intermediate Care unit that specializes in caring for patients requiring stepdown level monitoring and intervention. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern technology including EPIC charting systems to support clinical operations.
